Always double check tire installs
I purchased a set of tires from TireRack and had them ship to one of their authorized installers. I brought my wheels down to the shop to get the tires mounted / balanced.
They first told me I had the wrong TPMS, but they just didn't know how to install them. After we figured that out they got the tires mounted and balanced and I was on my way. The techs at the shop didn't inspire confidence so I thought it best to double check their work when I got home. They mounted the wrong tires to the wrong wheels!! ( I have staggered setup).  Had to make another trip down to the shop to get it sorted. |

Last time I got tires mounted on my e30 I had to explain every single step to the tech. From removing the style 5 center caps (after I supplied the tool) to which way the tire comes off the wheel and how to properly mount the new ones...I've never personally mounted a tire before so we had to call the master tech at one point when we were both stumped
