Help removing seat back covers

I'm removing the seatback covers from my e90, and I'm stuck at the headrest area. Does anyone know how to release the headrest guide from the seat-back frame to free the seat cover at the top?

UPDATE: Removing the headrest guides to replace a seat-back cover is not necessary. The openings in the cover are just large enough to slip around them once all the hog-rings are removed.
