Another remote locking problem post, but I have done some debugging....
My 2006 E91 without comfort access has dead remote central locking.
I found 3 wires in poor condition in the wiring from the diversity antenna 4 pin plug and fixed them. This also fixed my radio reception. The blue/yellow wire has 0V and I've read in a few posts it should have 4V. INPA shows no CAS errors, before I had signal strength errors. My central locking from the dashboard button works fine, always has. One key has the soldered in battery, other has a removable battery which is new. Could I have a key problem? My next step is to find the other end of the blue/yellow wire and check continuity.

Trace the blue/yellow wire into the trunk and it's continuity is good. So why no voltage? What is its function? The mystery deepens.........

Don't like leaving loose ends. I finally got my remote locking to work! There were three chafed wires in the right side harness to the body. I also had a dead diversity antenna. Put a new one in and the remote fob worked right away. Sealed with with bathroom sealant inside and duct tape outside.
The previous antenna module was five years newer than the car, so this is its third.
