E92 non - m suspension/lowering

Hi everyone!

I have a 2007 E92 328i RWD with 118,900 Kms on it (73880 miles) and have just purchased new wheels and tires this past week! I purchased a staggered set of Forgestar F14, specs are as follows:

Wheels
Front: 19" x 9" ET 35
Rear: 19" x 10" ET 28

Tires
Front: Falken 453 235/35/19
Rear: Michelin Pilot Super Sports 265/35/19

I want a nice flush fitment but I don't want to be too slammed (preferably 1 finger?) What are some recommendations for suspensions, coilovers or lowering springs and why? I've talked to a few local guys and they use springs but say they would go coilovers if they could do it again. I've also met people who say your stock struts are good if your car isn't in high km range already. I daily drive this car and will drive in the winter as well too (pending if i go coilovers or not, might get a winter beater). Please advise as I'm a rookie to the BMW world let alone suspension!

Thanks in advance!

You need to advise your budget. I'd strongly recommend Ohlins coilovers, but for most they're too pricey..

Good Point! I honestly got the wheels and tires used from a local forum member and he gave me such an amazing deal where I literally saved over $3000 CAD on tires and wheels! So right now I don't mind spending the money on suspension but I would like to cap it at $2000-$2500 at most for suspension. I don't need the absolute best but middle of the pack or so. I've been recommended BC racing and KWs, just want to get an idea of whats better for the money, comfort, style and durability (especially winter). I will be rust proofing as well.

Also being from Canada I want to buy from local so I don't get screwed on 1) shipping and handling 2) duties 3) customer support (much easier to deal with local shops). Some of the brands I see in Canada are KWs, BC racing, ST, Fourtune auto, Bilstein, and Eibach are the ones most Canadian retailers are selling. Springs H and R are common.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Bilstein on multiple cars. I currently have the Pro Kit on my e92 and it is 10x better than stock. But it didn't drop it low enough so I'm looking at coilovers. I decided on the B14 PSS. They're half the money of the PSS10 without the adjustability. I don't track it and I've never felt the desire to adjust the shocks. I haven't got them yet, so I can't recommend them but you should consider Bilstein. Or Ground Control for similar money as the PSS10.

One of my friends E90 got into a car accident and he just got new H and R Springs and Blistein B8 shocks less than a month ago. He's basically giving them to me. Any advice if they'd pair well on a E92? His was X drive as well if that even matters.

I'm pretty sure xdrive and rwd isn't compatible with each other atleast for coilovers. However, they do pair well, the b8 shocks pair well with many lowering springs compared to oem.

Yea I actually spoke to a Bilstein rep yesterday and they told me the B8 and H and R lowering springs will go well on my E92 and that AWD or RWD doesn't matter, same product and application.
