Fluids, gearbox and diff oil and amounts
Hey my diff has started to give up so have a replacement on the way but it's going to arrive dry. From what I've read it's 75w90 trans oil but how much do I need? Also is the gearbox oil the same? If not does anyone know what I need and how much of it I need. Cars a manual e90 318d. I'm falling down quite the rabbit hole with this car. After about 5 months of ownership I've had more hassle than I ever have (admittedly previously I just drove cars i didn't really like so never maintained them, just drove them till they were ready for the scrap heap in the sky) with any other car. But it's becoming like a game trying to get it right and working as it should haha. Thanks in advance people

Best to search, this has prob been covered many times
https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=385975 I filled until it spills out the hole and I didn't use more than one of those standard little bottles I think. Best to check for your trans. Autos are def NOT the same oil, no idea for annuals |

Don't forget you'll need a special tool to remove the input shaft into the diff http://www.munichpower.co.uk/bmw-and...rential-seals/
