At the local watering hole, an acquaintance of mine told me that his DB9 Volante had been recalled for a fuel pump problem. Does anyone know if Aston Martin and BMW share a common fuel pump supplier?

To pour salt on his wound, he was given a Chevy Trailblazer as a loaner.

First off hello and Thankyou for this site.

I have a 2008 Two Month old BMW 335I convertable all options with 2500 miles. Driving on the freeway ramp going to hit the gas and nothing. The car would NOT go over 35mph. I Call my dealer and was able to drive it there. Whats the first thing he asked? Has it taken longer to start when you push the button? I say yes. He says "Fuel pump" I have one in stock. Heres a 5 series take it to work and I will bring your car to you later on today and he apologised.. THIS IS WHY I BOUGHT A BMW!!!! It sucks that it broke down but things happen. Any chance the new one there putting in will have the same Problem. Ive read that the 2008 weren't affected but mine is a 2008.

so the guy has an Aston Martin, and was given a POS car for a loaner??? that's worse than bmw's loaner cars from Enterprise.......
