Do I need to get a new TMAP sensor?

My oem chargepipe slipped off and cracked where it connects to the throttle body and somehow the TMAP plug got pulled out of the sensor cracking the the outside plug housing and bending one of the pins 90 degrees. Will it be fine to bend it back and use some electrical tape on it to hold it on or should I get a new sensor?

Probably best to get a new one. You could get a 3.5bar tmap sensor while youre at it if you ever want to run more boost than an OTS map allows

same thing happened to me, bent the pins back but very very carefully, then taped up sensor connector on my new charge pipe, worst comes to worse u break a pin or the sensor doesn't stay connected then u would just need to get a new one

Same thing happened to me as well. I got a new one and all is good. I've seen a lot of issues crop up with the 3.5bar one so I'd think it could be best to do that when you need it and use the standard N54 sensor for now.

Are you sure it was 3.5bar sensor and not the 4bar sensor? I know the 4bar had alot of issues. Havent heard any with 3.5
