Zaino vs the rest

I just switched to Zaino and after using their sealant on my AW car the shine is amazing im very satisfied with their products. I have also heard great reviews on jetseal 109 but before I spend the money has anyone tried both CG and Zaino...which has a better shine and protection between the two?

.

On a white car stick with Zaino, it will last much longer and you wont see a visual difference!

I've tried both - any difference you notice beteen Z2pro and Jetseal will be, imo, in your mind. They look amazingly similar, Z2pro lasts longer. Z5pro looks a *little* different on darker cars.

With any sealant the difference in look you get is going to be so minimal it is almost not work mentioning. From Clear Seal to Opti Seal to JetSeal to Z2, Z5, FMJ, PGP, OCW, even EXP...they all look a lot alike.

from what i've been reading these past months before i was deciding on what to buy for detailing, it seems that it's a preference thing. Zaino users will always stick to zaino and all the others have different assortments of supplies. I'll be trying my Jetseal 109 sometime next week. A friend of mine uses zaino on his MR2. I'll try to get some pictures up with comparison after we're both done detailing. It may not be fair that my paint is 10 years younger than his though haha

a much much better test is to get a small amount of zanio from your buddy. using a vertical surface like the trunk lid or roof apply the jetseal to half of it and zanio on the other. this way your test case has less variables - age of paint, polish process, pre-LSP process, etc.

post pics of the results, then water down and post pics of how each beads water. then do the same pics 10 days from now, 30 days from now, etc. this would be very helpful to many on the forum.

i do this all the time, right now my trunk lid has jetseal on one side and jetseal topped w/ zymol on the other. the only thing stopping me from doing this more often is getting the product - it would be a waste to purchase a full zanio LSP process just to run a test and find the jetSeal was better.

There are a bunch of these tests on Autopia. You can search for them if you're ever bored. Generally Zaino tends to outlast just about everything but Collinite.

i used to ONLY use zaino products too. zaino lasts he longest from any sealant i have tried. but it's too much a pain to apply, and you can't buy in bulk. so i switched over to CG products like jetSEAL109 and other carnauba waes like CG waxes, Pinnacle Souveran, Swissvax, etc... and i think i get just as good results, if not better than with zaino. the only thing is it just doesn't last as long. that doesn't matter to me anyway because i put a coat of wax on my car every 2 weeks!

^^I never tried other sealants so cant really say if Zaino is a pain to apply. Is jetseal that much easier?

I personally don't find either to be difficult. You need to apply them both very thin. If you do removal is pretty easy with either. Then again I use a lot of finicky waxes so...

the last time i used zaino was 4 years ago, but the JetSeal couldn't have been easier when i used the flex at the lowest speed w/ black / gray pad - allowed me to spread it very thin and evenly, wiping it off was ridiculously easy.

before using the flex i tried applying by hand and that didn't work well, too much product on the surface, too much product absorbed into the applicator.
