Pint Black 2 = Jet or Sapphire Metallic Black?

Good morning,

Car VIN reports shows that the color of the car is Black 2. Is that Jet Black or Black Sapphire Metallic?

I have a 2008 335xi. Any insights welcome.

Try a different VIN decoder. When I decoded mine, it gave me the cooler code and name of the paint color. Don't recall which one I used.

Should also be on a sticker under the hood.
