Servicing parts for 335i N55
Hi all, I have had a search but alot of varying and possibly outdated answers!
I have been struggling of late to find good servicing parts in the UK for my 335i. Specifically I am after - Drive belt Tensioner Idler pulleys FCP Euro do a kit for $140, which is far cheaper than anywhere in the UK (cheapest I found in UK is £250) but FCP euro will not provide shipping costs to the UK through the website, do they even ship to the UK? I have contacted them direct, but I am wondering if I am missing something here.... Where do all you UK guys get your servicing parts from? Eurocarparts never seem to have what I need listed, and when they do I am skeptical it is the part that I need. I have also heard poor things about the DAYCO belts they offer. I could go direct to BMW, but there must be a cheaper/easier option. Thanks guys for any help! |

I got a reply from FCP Euro, unfortunately they cannot ship to Europe due to GDPR regulations from the EU.
Unless you guys have other options that you use I guess I will go direct to BMW. |

Try autodoc. They are a German parts company. I along with a number of people on here have used them in the past. Some have had a good experience with them - myself included and others not so good. When I used them everything was spot on and all turned up about a week after ordering.

I have had 2 dayco belts on mine and they both started squeaking after about a year. I got a continental belt, the idler pulley and the tensioner pulley off AUTODOC. So far so good. Can’t remember they cost but it was decent enough.
