2006 330i SOS Light
Hi All,
I started getting the SOS Light Warning (uploaded in the URL below) in my 2006 330i for the past 1 week. What could be the reason? Is this a problem? How to fix this? The car has 120K miles as you can see in the picture. View post on imgur.com |

I was getting an SOS fault warning each time on start up for over a year.
Was never a problem. Just annoying. Drive the car so seldom that I didn't bother trying to figure out how to get rid of it. Took the car into the dealer for the blower motor wiring recall and asked if they knew how to fix it. Blank stares. Said they'd have to diagnosis it for an unknown cost w/o any guarantee that it would get fixed. Did some research on the Net and one "fix" mentioned was unpairing your phone from the car. So, I just deleted the phone from car's memory and the SOS fault notice warning disappeared. Problem solved. Worth a try if you haven't tried it yet.
