Can't smog till the monitors are ready to go. Still waiting on the O2 sensors. It's been 2 months of city and freeway driving and still they're not ready.

DME needs an update specifically the 335is. My 335is Oxygen Sensor monitors would not get ready until the DME was reprogrammed to the latest software.

That do you have on the ECU now? reinstalling the tune will reset all your monitors. 2 months means they will never go ready, something is wrong most likely. Are you running MHD? did you flash back to stock or are you running MHD stage zero? If so did you check the box back on for stock or catted DP's?

I completely uninstalled the tune and I checked the box for stock downpipes. I'm getting different information from different people. Some say "there's clearly something wrong with your ECU/o2". Others say "you have to perform the drive cycle perfectly to a T" and others say "just keep driving it on the freeway, it will eventually reset".

If you remove the tune/flash back to stock, there is no check box for stock downpipes - did you check the stock downpipes box and flash map 0 (2 minute flash) or did you flash back to stock which is a 20 minute flash? Also flashing back to stock if you remove your backup file will flash the latest factory software to your ECU in case your backup is something modified also. Otherwise if it is back to stock, you can usually get your 02 monitors to set in like 30 minutes, I just follow the drive cycle document as close as I can, sometimes takes 2 times but usually works first try.

Staying not ready that long without codes indicates that those monitors are still purposefully disabled if you are getting efficiency codes and a not ready then something is wrong with O2's etc, but if you just get not ready after 2 months still for the 02's and there are no codes then they are still turned off.

It was the 30 minute stock flash. It's what MHD customer service suggested I do. I wanted to fully remove the tune from the car. What do you mean by a backup? I've never heard of that. Also someone had suggested taking the car to the dealership to glad the update to my DME. You say that removing the backup would update my DME to the newest factory software? As in the same thing that the dealership would do? Sorry for the questions. I'm trying to get to the bottom of this and trying to avoid going to the dealership if possible.

I just entered my VIN on BMWUSA and it says my DME software is up to date. So I don't think the dealership could help me.
