N57 maintenance
Hello,
My e90 325d lci now has 188k km or 116k miles on it. Mapped to 300hp 15.000km ago. As Im currently outside my country where labour costs are extremely low, I want to change some things as I want to reach atleast 300k km. Things on the list: -Timing chain distribution set -all 6 injectors + seals change, however garage here says only 1 injector would be bad. But enough to clean and rinse. What are your thoughts about this? Just this 1 or all 6 change? - head gasket - all glow plugs - intake manifold (carbon cleaning) - drive belt set - crankshaft pulley - power steering fluid Again, none of this is broken at this point. But I like to be better safe than sorry. Share me your thoughts Cheers |

-all 6 injectors + seals change, however garage here says only 1 injector would be bad. But enough to clean and rinse. What are your thoughts about this? Just this 1 or all 6 change? Send them to be tested and make a determination. Change the injector bolts and copper washers, - head gasket Not sure I didn't touch mine. My car had 200k miles. - all glow plugs + the controller. - intake manifold (carbon cleaning) egr seal, inlet manifold seals(blank off swirl flaps), - drive belt set - crankshaft pulley check it first. I had mine for 200k miles and still not need to be replaced. - power steering fluid More: brake fluid. cooling fluid check brake lines and replace if required. tranny oil + diff. Regards, Styvy |
