which order would you do these in
looking to do some maintenance this month. im replacing my ps reservoir, doing a coolant flush, and oil pan gasket which i know you have to drop the subframe + motor mounts. i was thinking of do the oil pan gasket last because of how involved it will be. does it matter or would it be easier to do everything together all at once? the oil pan gasket job is a complex one so i dont want to be distracted with other maintenance going on, etc. how would you guys tackle this?

If it were me I would tackle the oil pan gasket first. Things can get real nasty down there with it leaking all over the cables and other things. Makes cleanup a freaking mess the longer it leaks.

I'd get the easy ones done first, VCG, OFHG, then the Sump gasket, Crank Seals etc
Tackle the leaks first, although almost everything was leaking on mine lol, |

IF you have a day to kill, do it all at once and be done. The OFHG and VCG can be done within 2-3 hours. If you plan to upgrade turbos, downpipes, water pump, now is the time since you're down there

PS reservoir 1st- It's the easiest and can be done from above.
I would do the coolant flush and pan gasket together. The flush is easy but if your dropping the subframe it might give you more room if you have to remove a coolant hose or two. |
