Kombi question (changed low to high kombi)

Hello.
Yesterday I've changed the kombi on mine E91 320d.
Changed from low to high cluster. Installed a cluster from a 335d. My car is from 12/2006 and the cluster I installed was from 06/2007.
I've opened it and changed eeprom, write my vin, my mileage, coded it and everithing work fine except one thing, that ring around tachometer (RPM) that moves the redline if engine is cold or warm.
The ring of the speedo, for cruise control works fine. For the redline it never moves.
It's about coding? My cluster is just like this and what I'm talking about is just like this too.

Thanks in advance

I don't believe they move. That only happens on the M3.

I dismantled a spare Kombi to replicate and M3 speed and that outer ring just clipped in.

But they do. Not only the M3.
Have a friend with a e93 330d and it moves backwards when engine it's cold and then moves more next to 5000rpm when it gets warm. Don't know if this will move, that's why I'm asking if it's about coding. Maybe not all cluster moves like you have check on yours. Can some one with a cluster that the ring works, send me trc file?

The feature you refer to was cancelled on e90. I'd bet if you took the cluster apart it will be without the motor on the rev side compared to the cruise ring...

I guess M3 cluster has it, maybe also Alpina?

It was canceled after some date? I've seen some clusters moving... Even here in diy section it's a guy who made the same as me, on a 320d just like mine and on that it moves. This cluster is from 06/2007.

You have a link? I personally have never seen an e90 (not m3) rev marker move before. I'm not doubting you but I'd be interested to see it.

If indeed the motor is present, you need to check this, then perhaps it was possible with some early KOMBI / DDE firmware (datens), I don't know though...

I have the same issue. Installed a LCI instrument cluster on my PRE-LCI 2005 E90 and the ring of the speedo for Cruise Control doesn't work for me. Neither does the ring of the RPMs, it's just stuck.
