Loaner Tool? Would like to borrow an

e9X strut spreader from some one local. I'm in Western Mass..Westfield to be exact. Just need it for a weekend to get my fronts done and then I'll return. For the use a good IPA or ? Just can't justify buying one for what might be a one time use.

Thanks Greg

What a silly tool...

skip to 4:25

I used the same. Just a couple of taps and it opened up for me last time I did them on an e9x.

Never needed a special tool, at most, a regular screw driver or small ply bar.

Ok I haven't even looked around in there but happened to see that tool at three sites that sell struts so was thinking it was needed.

Not needed. Like they said above, pry or screw driver + hammer.
