Whats the advantages/disadvantages of running 265/275
I'm pretty new to looking for wheels for my e90 and was wondering what the advantages and disadvantages of running either a 265/30/19 or a 275/30/19. These would be put on a 19x10 rim and would be on my car with the stock sport suspension with no drop. I'm also not looking to roll the fenders but definitely don't want any rubbing.
I'm considering a couple different types of rims, possibly the VMR V710, CSL reps, but leaning towards the Linea Corsa LM reps. The offsets that the LM reps have are +30 in the front and +37. I wouldn't mind running the 265 but they do look somewhat stretched out on the 10" wide rim and the lip looks like it sticks out a bit. I've searched around for some pics of these on a stock e90 and havn't found much, Sharagon's ride looks sick but he went with the M3 offset. If anyone can help me out on this it would be GREATLY appreciated

Advantages for 265 = Closer to stock rolling diameter
Disadvantages for 265 = Less wide than 275? Duh! Advantages for 275 = Wider than 265? Duh! Disadvantages for 275 = Increased rolling resistance b/c of a larger OD. Danny

I was mostly wondering if the 275's would fit nicely without any rubbing and if acceleration differences, I'm guessing the differences are pretty minimal between the two?

With a 275 year, you should run a 245 front to keep the width difference the same as stock (225/255, 30mm difference.) That should keep the understeer at the same amount as stock. If you go with a 235/275 split, you'll increase the understeer.
I'm actually thinking of running 245/265 to decrease the understeer. Sure I'd rather have a 275 rear, but I can't imagine that I can squeeze a 255 up front without rubbing issues.....

Go with 245/275. You need to use rubber for protection..
