Speedometer calibration with Bimmercode?
Hey everyone. I just started getting into this coding thing, and I have a question. I just turned off Speedometer Correction. Before, my speedometer would read 10% high. Now it's a bit less, but still reading high (tested against GPS apps). I know there's a way to access the values for it... I'm wondering if Bimmercode can do that in Expert mode and what to look for when resetting it? Car is a 2011 328xi sedan, if that helps. Thanks!

Perfekt Toolbox will do it and anything else you want to do on the cluster, you need a computer with a working inpa/eidibas install so you can connect to the car, but then you perfekt toolbox will connect to the cluster and let you modify values and change exactly where the needle points, I used it to change my MPG gauge to oil temp and calibrate exactly to temp and adjust the speedo to exact speed.

Mine's running 225/45/17. I wonder if it's calibrated for 18s.

You can change values with bimmercode. Post number 33 will guide you, dont ask me how they got there hex values but i am running exactly what is posted there and am a mile per hour off now. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...1333119&page=2

Well I tried a variety of different values as denoted in that post. Everything was either worse or just 5 mph at 80, so I just got it there and plan to leave it. At one point I screwed something up and got the red car on a lift logo. Way to go, Mike. Eventually got that taken care of, at least.

I'll have to give that a shot. I hate not knowing how fast I'm actually going.

Thanks for all your help. I got the digital one spot and the analog is only off by 2 mph now. I'll call that close enough.

I'll screenshot it later, but it was the bottom preset value, not a custom one.
