DIY Flywheel Locking Tool N52N/328i??

Hey guys,

Doing the whole clutch/flywheel job this weekend and was wondering if anyone had the DIY/cheap alternative for not buying the BMW specific flywheel locking tool?

Any help greatly appreciated, thanks!

Look at my DIY I posted to replace the clutch on an N52. I made a very simple tool out of a 2 x 4 tie-down bracket. The pics of it are in the DIY .pdf.

You know what the thickness of that piece you used is? Looked like 1/8"? I can definitely make one of those up at work.
