Clear Bra + Ceramic Coating
My new X5 was just delivered to the dealership
Now I'm trying to secure a paint correction, PPF, and ceramic coating but want to be sure I'm getting a good deal. Paint Correction, SunTek Ultra Full Front End, Modesta Coating, and Modesta Wheel Coating all for $3,500. I'm in the DMV (DC/MD/VA) area. Thoughts? Too much? Detailer comes highly recommended. |

That pricing sounds about right. Not too familiar with Modesta but I'm sure you did your research so as long as it's a decent product, I think you're hitting the correct pricing range

Modesta BC-08 on the paint (wanted the 3 year protection) and BC-06 High Temp on the wheels. Glad to hear I'm paying a fair price.

Yup that's a decent price. Modesta is a high quality coating which I'm sure you're going to love. I plan on getting my wheels coated with BC-06 and then a layer of BC-05 on top of that.

Question - Why putting a coating on above a PPF? And...how do you properly maintain a PPF and/or Ceramic? I.E. - will you ever use wax? Yearly machine detail?
Interested in the thoughts....thanks! |

ceramic coating on top of the ppf is the usual way versus the other way around. it will be the initial protection and provide ease of cleaning due to its hydrophobic properties
