HOT interior xenons

So, I have read the posts about the melted trunk lights, but I have never seen anything about the lights under the front doors on the E90. After one of them burnt out, I decided to get the LEDs from v-leds and upon replacing the bulbs I found this:




As you can see in the pics the housing was really stuck on there, it took many tries with a little screw driver to separate them. Now I am a little worried about the other bulbs because all of the examples were not the little round bulbs, but the longer ones with metal ends. Any one else had this happen?

My trunk lights were melted before i even changed the bulbs to the xenons....i'll switch to led's soon enough...
