N52 delay in acceleration

hi,

there are still some problems with my N52 engine,

when i drive at light throttle for a while an then push the pedal to accelerate a bit more, it tooks around one second until the car accelerate.

is this delay normaly for the N52 ?

it happens at low rpm (~2k) and also at higher rpm (~4k)

2005 N52B25
no codes and almost everything is new

regards Robin

Robin,

Yes, what you are experiencing is normal. I experienced this with my manual transmission n52. There are various options -- you can get a pedal box if you are looking to purely just fix that issue or get a tune. Definitely a price difference between the two. If you are looking to modify and squeeze power out of it, I would make the tune the last step. Hope this helps.
