illuminated door sills?
anybody know of a better DIY then the PDF one in the DIY section?
just got a pair and install looks like a bitch and a half any1 have any advice? besides have a professional do it? any HELP would be great |

no tapping...its a lot of harnesses...if tapping was involved i would've dumped this idea a long time ago
i'm looking for some1 who's done it before |

umm good luck..they had to order a new set cause the dealer messed up the install..they are a real pain in the ass to secure..connecting to lighting is a cinch but securing them is a real bitch. my dealer couldn't figure out why bmw made them so difficult..maybe there is a revised install or a revised version..i like them but i would never install them by myself.. also self installation i believe and don't quote me on this of this will not give you a warranty..so if you mess up your SCREWED and out the 700 or so..i would just install them by the dealer and let it be there problem. i personally don't think installing door sill is to fun any way.
