Budget tyres
Being an OAP but still enjoying my E93 (and my Austin 7 and Merc 280sl)
I don't do many miles in my BMW hardly any motorway I have been waiting for my runflat tyres to wear out , 4 years , so I can replace them with non runflats . Can anyone recommend good budget tyres please 19" on MV4s. Thanks Andrew... |

Any midrange tyre will be fine. When it comes to tyres always buy the best you can afford but just avoid the 'no name' budget tyres as they can be nasty. As long as you stay with a well known brand you'll be fine.

Literally the only thing connecting you to the road. Get the best you can afford/justify! It's chalk/cheese between the mid range Dunlop tyres on my partner's 118d, vs the Michelin ps4 tyres on mine. Particularly wet grip.
Worst tyres I've ever knowingly driven were 'mohawk' branded. That put me off cheap tyres for life! Last edited by Tambohamilton; 03-13-2021 at 11:11 AM.. |

I found this site very helpful when choosing wheels and tyres.
https://www.willtheyfit.com/ Just realised I think I've posted this in the wrong thread! Last edited by nick46; 03-15-2021 at 07:43 AM.. |
