MEVD17 8684988 PPK Flash Issue

Attempting to flash the PPK 8666678 on my 2011 N55 E90. Getting error code 200.

Searched quite a bit and found some posts saying this could be a cable issue (Alpina trans flash worked fine). I also found some posts that maybe are related to the ROM being updated, the car was flashed at BMW 3/17 during a warranty visit. I started following the guide to downgrade but thought I would ask here first.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer! Confused as to what might be causing this.

I have sp-daten V60, but not sure what zusb the ppk is.

This is the contents of C:\EC-APPS\NFS\DATA\MEVD17

Thanks! That should be in v60 daten? 2011 US AT N55 How do you go about figuring that out? BTW, I ordered one of your cables yesterday in case that was an issue as well! Thanks in advance for that!

So if you look in the data/MEVD17 folder you should see a MEVD17.HIS file. Open it with notepad, search your ZB. The left column is the old, the right is the new. So once you search(ctrl+f) your ZB and find it in the left column, find the new ZB in the right.

Then search that new ZB(search up and down) and continue following the line until there are no more results. From the 8666678, there is only one new ZB found which is the 8685036. Searching 8685036 up and down finds zero results except for the one listed in the "New" column.
Nevermind, reread what you wrote. Thank you for the complete and quick responses!

Ok, got my 12v supply sorted and ran the flash, completed 100%. Crank no start and now no longer connecting to WinkFP even in Expert Mode.

Cannot say enough great things about BimmerGeeks. They had me back up and running in no time. Great communication, very thorough!

I will not be messing with flashing modules anymore, leave it to the professionals!

Could have been corrupt files, improper config etc...if my son wasn't screaming at me all morning I may have spent some time first to look into the exact cause.
I'm pretty sure my 12v dropped during the initial flash, not sure why the subsequent flash I tried didn't take. Either way that glorious sound of the engine starting again is all that matters!

Loving the PPK too! Almost forgot what I was going after to begin with.

i know it's been 3 years but do you remember if you followed the stock ZB in the .HIS file or if you followed a PPK ZB given from a graph or something
