Unfortunately you didnt specify that you needed one with a single button or not? What doesnt work? I rushed home from work went to the shops paid extra to have it expressed posted to help out a forum member, unsure why you're so salty |

The controller has to be coded to work properly. Will work fine after coding.

Dead Idrive controller
Good info, thanks. My controller died after my battery died. There was no fuse to be found for the controller. I have done bit of reading and it seems that it is common for the controller to quit after the battery has gone dead. I am going to attempt to take mine apart tomorrow and see if 1i can revive it by cleaning it.

Just wanted to say thanks for uploading this as I fixed my controller today by soldering the joints and following your guide.
I will say though use a small soldering iron tip if you can as I had picked up a cheap £8 one that was quite big. Appreciate it - Matt |

I’ve got an issue with mine.
When the car turn on the controller doesn’t respond and doesn’t light up. I have to hold a combination of the top three buttons in every so often as this makes the controller light up (but then the light goes out). I have to do this fevers so often and after about 15 minutes it will work as normal. I’ve noticed that the temperature plays a factor in it as over this winter with low temperatures it takes ages to get it to work but so how if it’s warmer than about 9/10 degrees Celsius it starts working after I hold a few buttons in. Do you think it’s the solder? It’s a cic idrive controller. I haven’t got anything to test voltage. |

I drive controller
I am located in US , does anyone know where I can find a good used one of these?
We had someone diagnose our 2011 328i bmw and he let the battery get too low and we had to jump start it fried the joysticks. The screen still works just the controller will not move. |

it’s a weird issue. My cluster /kombi goes haywire, needles jump to the bottom all the lights come on and it brings up a message about some sort of failure and to stop my journey, does it repeatedly until the controller starts working again. |
