Joyriide Detailed: Audi A4 2.0t White v2

[I]Joyriide Detailed: Audi A4 2.0t

I've detailed this car before and I'm also the only one who maintains it once every 3-4 weeks , so it was sort of neat to monitor the durability of Collinite. The white paint on this car shows every possible contaminate and stain in the paint, and as you can see, his house is under a fortress of HUGE trees that release loads of sap and junk. The white paint shows little swirling, and the interior was messy.

Interior

-Steam Clean everything.
-Meguiars APC
-Zaino Z10
-Meguiars #40
-Poorboys QW+ on door jams.

Before

After

Exterior

-Dawn
-Clay Magic Blue
-P21S
-Meguairs Super Degreaser
-Gold Class Car Wash

-Zaino ZPC and via white pad @ 1200rpms
-ZAIO by hand

-Z2 Pro x1
-Black Magic Matte Dressing
-Meguiars Hyperdressing 4:1 (engine and fender wells)
-Z6 wipe down

Before

After

I also cleaned up his A8 while I was there. Regular wash with a coa of OCW thrown in.

Before

After

A nice job. What do you use on the rims? They look fantastic (minus the bit of curb rash). Engine bay and all the nooks and crannies that I can see look great. I can see why he relies on you to take car of his car.

A couple more questions -

You said there was sap and tree droppings. What did you use to tackle that?

What do you think of ZPC as a polish? Do you have to follow with AIO before using Z2?

Rims were cleaned with P21S wheel gel. I let them sit for 2-3 minutes and hit them with a variety of wheel brushes. Then I let them sit for another 2 minutes or so while I clean the tires and fender wells.

For the tree sap and droppings, I added Dawn dish detergent to my wash mix of Gold Class. Probably about one ounce. On a normal basis, I just was with a regular car wash mix and get w/e I can off. On this detail it was already a build up of months of accumulation.

ZPC is a fine polish. It works well with both PC and rotory. ZAIO gives a good base before Z2pro, especially if you do not plan on layering. I tried to keep products within their brand in this case.
