I just installed Jlevisw's rear license LED, but got error, what can I do?

just installed tonight, looks great but when i start up the car, but it throws in an error icon for like 10 secs and it gone, what can I do to make this error gone? please advise...thanks!! btw, my car is 07 E90 sedan 328i

Contact them. It's their product so they need to support you.

earlier production will throw error. Each time you start the car, you need to turn the light on in order to make the error go away just like you state above. As long as it will go away in 10sec, you should be fine!! Nothing you can do about it unless you add a resistor which not recommand.

It's a hit or miss with the light. I bought them, threw an error, returned them, got a refund.

Hi Paul,

It is very rare that switching out bulbs will fix the problem. Usually if it throws an error, it will continue to do so regardless of whether or not we switch them out. If you like, please send the bulbs back for a refund.

These are probably Bimmian's bulbs. I had the same problem.

thats weird i am using the led bulb from Jlevi and no errors for me...

Can't you guys just use the bulbs that are in the 08's? The stock LED's that came in my E92 look great! I love the way they light up

the majority of the customers who purchased the bulbs have been fine; it's only a handful of cars that are throwing errors. We dont know for sure why that is.

No, the wiring is different. You would need to do a whole lot of rewiring to make it work, it's not a simple switch of light bulbs.
