I started noticing a rattle/ buzzing noise when On deceleration. I'll be cruising in any gear, hit the break and a buzzing is heard from both sides of the car as the rpms fall. Interestingly, if I touch the gas at all (literally the lightest touch) the sound is gone till I come off of gas again. The sound is only noticeable when something is close to either side of the car. I suspected wastegate rattle so I jacked her up to check how much play there is. It doesn't sound like the rattle of WGR from what I've seen but why would it be throttle related? It comes and goes. After hard pulls you Will hear it. But if you're driving like a decent human you won't hear it. My two questions are 1. Is this WGR or something else 2. Is this amount of play in the wastegate actuator normal (see video) https://youtube.com/shorts/8iCWhiPIpAY |
