Steering angle parameters (Need help)

What's the difference between these parameters in INPA:

steering angle_above f_can
steering angle_wheel f_can AFS (I think this one is for the headlights)
steering angle DSC_ECU

When I turn my steering wheel (2008 335i) the only parameter that changes is:
steering angle_above f_can

The other two parameters are set to 0 and don't move.

Of course I have the dreaded DSC malfunction, which I believe is related.

I have a handheld scanner that shows wheel angle at steering wheel and for my 2008 335i it's stuck at -0.5. On my 2008 535i turning the steering wheel changes the value of "steering angle_above f_can".

Any help would be appreciated.

Gary
