Safe amount of power to run

I recently came across docraces bottom mount single turbo kit pushing 700+ hp. Any estimate on how much power a well maintained, fbo n54 could take before facing serious maintenace problems or requiring internal upgrades?

I wouldn't go past 700whp on a stock N54. Everyone has a different point of view.

It's a time question. They'll handle 800+ for a few glory pulls/runs. 550-600ish seems like a good long term street use power level.

Just guessing.....but a drivetrain that was designed around 300hp isn't going to take 700hp and close to 1,000ft/lb of torque without breaking some stuff. Can you do it, sure. Will it be reliable? Not unless you spend a fortune upgrading everything. But at that point, you are better off to just buy a new Corvette

You mean 1000nm, which is still a huge amount?

No way a 700hp N54 gonna have 1000lb/ft.
