Did you use a K+DCAN or ICOM cable? It will 100% brick with K+DCAN and will need to be reflashed.

If you are using ICOM you need ICOM A+B and create the secure connection, I use EasyConnect and iToolRadar, I can help out with that if that is your issue.

yes icom next i think with most connector...ive read that sometimes itll fail because of other components on most network would go into sleep mode and disrupt connection or somethin like that and theyd bypass the most connection block back to the cic so its the only thing on the bus but idk...but yea i would reserve ip in itoolradar and thn icom lock to most async in easy connect...id appreciate your help? i was thinkin maybe somewhere along the files is at fault but im pretty sure i updated daten files to latest in coding tools program correctly

Oh okay seems like you got the settings for iTool Radar and Easy Connect down. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the errors you received.

When I updated my CIC, I was having issues with my power supply, so I ended up updating it with my engine running. I made sure my laptop doesn't go into sleep mode and I was inside the car the entire time to ensure no modules went to sleep if I were to open the door or something. I would suggest trying it again the way I accomplished it, the CIC screen is black because it is likely in bootloader mode (will show up blue in ISTA I think).

I will also attach the text file I used that help me update CIC and complete my retrofit. You might have to try Option 2 if Option 1 keeps giving you issues. Best of luck.
