Bmw e92 325d big brakes coding

Hi, I recently bought a 2011 e92 325D and am planning on getting a tune at some point so am carrying out upgrades beforehand. One of these is the brakes. I am going to install the brakes from the 335D, which uses the 348mm disks. I have heard that when upgrading brakes on a BMW you are supposed to code them, so i have a question about this. I have come across vehicle order code S102A, which is believe is the option for big brakes on the 330d police vehicles, which also use 335d brakes, so I figured coding S102A to the DSC module and programming to defaults would be perfect. Does anyone know if this is necessary, and if it is, would this be the correct way to go about it? Thanks
