detailer help needed

hello. i have resistall in my 335i with coral red leather and i had a few questions hopefully some of you detail wizards can help me with:

1. the car is 2 weeks old, and i notice a white powdery residue on the seats every couple days after i wipe them off with a duster. is that just the resistall coming off due to break in?

2. can i use other leather cleaners/dash cleaners over it and if so what do you recomend?

3. im in NH and the pollen is insane this time of year, i do not feel like washing my car more than once a week by hand so i was wondering if it was allright to take a california car duster to it if the paint is fairly clean besides the pollen?

i would greatly appreciate any help... thanks in advanve deatail wizards. question no.2 is my main concern btw.

1. don't know what it is
2. yes, you can use a leather cleaner. i would recommend Chemical Guy's Extreme Leather Cleaner (can be purchased at www.chemicalguys.com or www.detailedimage.com)
3. i wouldn't use the california car duster. especially on a dark colored car. you MIGHT be able to get away with it on a light color IF and ONLY IF you know how to use it correctly and the car is not dirty. but then again I wouldn't use it on any car...

thanks man, ya i think the white powder had something to do with the resistall setting in because it seems to not be doing it as much now.

ya thats it, the only reason i bought that crap is because it warranties the leather against fading, wearing and staining. i heard that the coral red does not hold up well so in a couple years i will have it replaced under the resistall warranty.(sa told me they will cover fading/wear and staining)
