is it worth replacing oil filter housing gasket, oil pan gasket?

Hey so i'm gonna get my turbos replaced next week and i was thinking that while the turbos are being replaced might as well replace the oil filter housing gasket, oil pan gasket and intake manifold gasket but there arent any local stores selling them and if i order them it will be after my appointment so question is, is it worth it to move up the appointment or just replace the turbos and skip all of that? thanks in advance

The oil pan gasket is a "while you're in there" job if you're replacing the turbos. The oil filter housing and intake manifold are totally separate and a lot less involved.

I'd do them all, unless you have done them recently.

If the OFHG is leaking, I'm told that that is the typical cause of the serpentine belt getting sucked through the front main seal, so that one's a definite yes if there's any signs of it leaking.

If it is an XI just throw it away instead of doing the oil pan gasket, that is one of the worst jobs on an XI.

Oil pan gasket absolutely must be done, unless of course you want to drop the subframe again on an Xi later down the road when it inevitably leaks. The others can be done in a few hours and some beers, company helps too. I would never drop my subframe without replacing the oil pan gasket unless it was done very recently, too much work to have to go back down there just for it.

It's true I was quoted $2000 for the oil pan gasket on my xi. I also will wait for turbos as it's hardly ever drips.

Dropping the subframe used to seem like a lot of work to me. But now since this car has graciously given me so many opportunities for practice, it feels routine.

I pretty much agree but, not on an Xi
