New to Forum

Hey guys I have been reading this forum for over a year and i can finally say I am extemely excited to be a member as I bought my e90 335i AW last week. I love cars but i am still a newbie so i look forward to learn alot from all of you.

I actually got my first BMW when i was 18. I got my uncles beat up BMW that was 10yrs old with 120,000 but. . . it was still a BMW and i feel in love. When i was 20 some lady ran into it and it got totaled. My dad didnt want me to get another BMW casue i was just a college kid so i was crushed as every day I couldnt wait till i got back in the Ultimate Driving Machine. The time has finally come becasue not only can i say i have a bmw again but this time it is MY BMW.

Sorry to bore you guys with my story but i just had to let it out, anaway very excited to part of this forum and looking forward to good times.

sorry about the crappy pic just took them with my cell phone.

Also i just ordered the Mtech steering wheel and am kind of nervous to do the install myslef so i was wondering if anybody can suggest any better ideas than paying my dealer $145 to do the install. Thanks

First...WELCOME!

Then, there's some standard procedures here in SoCal....
- take off your front plate
- tint all your windows (u've done that...good!! )
- mandatory blacklines for E90s

Then, for ultimate installations, PM Longtran....especially if you looking for any cosmetic mods....he's the man ur looking for!

i would actually like to take off the front plate but the 5-0 already pulled me over here for not having a front plate and let me off with a warning (although i am sure that is not why he pulled me over) and with the 20% tint all arond i just dont want to attract the wrong kind of suspension.

Damn you took the words right out of my mouth.

OP: Congrats on the new e90.
Love the AW. What color interior did you get?
What packages?
Here in SoCal you will have no problem finding a local member to help you out with mod installs. . .
I'd love to see some blacklines and wheels on that beauty.

I only have the sports package and the leater is black with wood trim (not a fan of wood trim)

i actually have to be very tight and selective with my mods because i am saving for a wedding so i dont want to go all out on mods yet. these are the things i had in mind:

1. M-tech wheel (on its way)
2. Carbon fiber dash kit
3. Eibach pro kit. not sure if this mod is worth it because i am doing it just for the cosmetic part of the drop. I did have eibach on my scion tc and loved them but with BMW sports suspension i doubt just eibach springs with do as much for my handling as it did to the scion.
