E46 330d engine swap ( into e92 320d)
So i have an e46 330d msport and its an absolute beast, shes around 400bhp. but its a 2004 and in my country the tax is a joke 1800 a year! so, I was thinking of buying a 2009 (cheap tax) e92 320d msport and putting my m57 engine into it. I've a friend who is a mechanic for bmw and he says its possible, just need to get a custom loom and swap the diff and get a e92 330d eu etc.
i just wanted to know has anyone ever done anything like this before ? and what I can expect from it or any advice for me?
