What tint Percent to go with 5%, 10%, 15%, or 20% on Blk 328i

I am sure this post has been done before , but I really some need fresh opinions. Almost finishing with what mods. I want to do with my car and know I am ready to put the tint on.

If you have pictures of your car tinted can you please post them here and tell me what percent tint it is. Thanks in advance.

Shit, if you don't have window tint laws then go for 5 all the way around.

For me I had to do it gradual therefore I would not stick out and get caught. Well at least yet. Knock on wood. I went with 5 in the back, 10 on the back sides, and 15 up front. In my option it flows great and looks very natural.

I got 20%, and never looked back, also on a black car, 20% will look darker.. IMHO it looks perfect, my friends has a TSX and I got the same tint as him (same guy) and his looks a bit darker because the black blends in

im going to go with a can of black spray paint.. 5% is for wifes and children lol

Per my experience: 20% is good. 5% is too dark to see at night.

Anything lower than 20% is asking for trouble both from every single cop you see as well as Mr. Nighttime vision.

I use to have 15 on my G35 and now have 20 on my e92.
i cant really tell a difference at all :]

I had 5% on my Cobra before my BMW, and it looked amazing from the outside. It got a little dark at night, but it was still drivable. I'm thinking around 15% on my BMW.

Also, laws in NC are 32% and I never had any problem at all from cops with the 5%.

Livin in cali theyre are pretty damn strict about tint laws. So far i've got absolutely no trouble with my 35/20 tint plus it really flows naturally if your car is black
