Glow plug replacement

Hello All,

BMW E93 320D N47 Engine with 196k on the clock, need to replace all 4 glow plugs, can i do this without taking off the manifold, also any tips on how to would be very much appreciated, I have seen a lot of topics on snapping them etc which is not what i like to do of course.

are you sure its the plugs and not just the controller?
i think it was NGK who had a video that said set a torque wrench to X amount, in reverse, and drive the car, soak them with penitent, then try it, if they don't budge at X torque, repeat the process.

gives ours are hard to get to, i would start soaking them now with something like PlusGas ect each day for a week or so if you can?

Don't use WD40, use a proper release agent. The one WD make is very good.
