Battery Registration with SOH Problem
Hi Everybody!
I'm having some issues with a new battery in a 2008 535xi. I'm asking here because there isn't a coding forum for the E60. I used the Comprehensive Guide on this site to register the battery using NCS Expert and Tool32. I have a 105ah_agm battery and I registered it as a 90ah_agm, because that was the closest option to what I have. I modified the VO to include A090 and deleted the old entry. I modified the CAS using NCS Dummy. I even ran staeuren_batterieausche_registerien using Tool32 just to be sure. I can see that the registration was effective using INPA. I'm having problems with various modules shutting down (keyless entry, drivers seat, etc.) when the car is off. INPA is showing something strange with the SOC and SOH of the battery. I replaced the IBS, but that didn't solve my problem. The battery seems to be OK. Here is some data I collected (voltage measurements taken with multi-meter): 7/25 3:04PM 12.55v - after sitting overnight 7/25 4:43PM 12.64v - after driving about 20 miles 7/26 9:37AM 12.46v - after sitting overnight I seem to be having some issues with SOC and SOH. I read this site showing similar problems, but a resolution is not addressed: https://bimmerprofs.com/registering-battery-launch/ Here are some screenshots from INPA taken at the times listed above. Any help is greatly appreciated! |
