Road Map Motion / Europe East 2021-1 on CIC with 8GB HDD

Dear all,

I was used to install Road Map Motion / Europe West in earlier
years - when it would still fit on the 8GB HDD.
Later then I didn't had any chance to upgrade any further because
the shop said that it won't fit anymore.

However - there are claims that the very same Road Map Motion... but East
instead of West (2021-1) will maybe still fit on this smaller 8GB CIC HDD.
This would be fine for me too, because the area (.DE) I'm interested in is
fully covered in both versions (east and west).
I wonder why my local BMW dealer didn't know of this possible option or
maybe even thought of it...

Can anyone confirm, whether the RM Europe Motion / East / 2021-1 will
perfectly fit on the 8GB CIC HDD ... without killing the unit?

Hello mate. I dont know whether you solve the problem about the updating or not. I am using 'road map europe east premium 2021' map now. I've been updating my maps since 2019. But I've never had a problem about updating my maps. I think motion or premium is not important. The method of making is same. If you find the map you want to use then i can help you from the beginning to the end of the process free.
