I know people put 128/135 mufflers on 328's but I was seeing if a 335 muffler would work. In my opinion the y-pipe in the muffler looks a lot better then the 1-2 tips. I made an quick diagram down below. Any ideas?[IMG][/IMG]

I guess you could do like half of the 335i muffler system. Seems like more effort than it's worth honestly. If I were you I'd be looking at either something simple like a muffler delete. Or if you want to spend a bit more money, something like Active Autowerk's muffler.

Are you looking to just use one of the the mufflers from a 335i? As said above, probably a hassle more so than anything. I have a 335i muffler on my 328i. Change the diffuser to dual exit/335i style and done. Much more to it than that obviously, but well worth the sound.

If I just use one muffler and do dual tips. Should I cover up the pipe that goes towards the h-pipe or just close that end up?

Honestly for all the hassle you will go through modifying a 335i exhaust into one muffler and changing pipes…just get a 328i PE or a 135i muffler. Less hassle both ways. I actually have a N55 135i muffler with the black tips if you want it. I was going to use it for my 328i, but a deal popped up for my current setup.

Sorry about the late reply, but I will looking at the 135 mufflers and they are like $400 and it's to much for a stock muffler. Also I would like to buy the muffler from you but right now is not the best time to buy anything for my car since I start college now.

I did a full 335 exhaust with catless headers before on my n52.
