Sounds like you forgot to plug in the tmap sensor, the connection is loose on the elbow or you didn't use the o-ring provided

Did all the above. Not gonna lie I did forget the tmac sensor at first but then threw a different code. I'll double check the clamps. Install was pretty straight forward and the bov sounds good. Just have no power

The OEM o-ring doesn't work with this chargepipe, we upgraded to a larger o-ring with a larger contact area for additional boost leak protection ![]() |

Is this o-ring supposed to go between the BOV and the charge pipe with the vband clamp covering it all? I'm fairly certain I didn't see it in my kit or the one waiting to go into my dads 335.

There's an o-ring for the chargepipe that goes in between the throttle body and there's an o-ring provided with the Tial for the charge pipe. Metal on metal is a no-no for any pressure application.

The o-ring for the CP to the throttle body is for the new CP design though. No metal to metal contact there on mine since mine uses the hose coupler. Need to pull my tial off and see what the deal is with the vband connection. I used everything in the kit and don't remember an o-ring between the bov and CP.

Found the o-ring for my dads. Didn't find mine and it wasn't installed sadly. Went to the parts store and got one, along with some new lines for the bov.

You should be able to install the BOV without taking it off. But, sometimes it's just easier take out the CP altogether as it's usually just a 10 minute job once you are proficient at it.

Did it without removing the CP. Also gave me an excuse to retighten all the T-Bolt clamps and hose clamps. Sounds solid as a rock under boost now. Not even the slightest hint of a boost leak or the high pitched "air being let out of balloon VERY slowly" sound. Pulled a log while I was at it.
