Help! Damaged my diffuser

I'm so pissed at myself. I was backing into my garage and went too far and hit my portable generator. Did some small damage to my cf diffuser. It's not big but I can feel it through the clear coat. Anyone have any idea on how I can fix this?

That sucks but would probably just try and forget about it TBH! These things happen.

A body shop might sand it down and clear coat it if you really want to but it seems fairly minimal to me

Garage List
Definitely sucks and I'd be mad too but honestly doesn't look all that bad. Probably more hassle and expense to try and repair it than being worth it.

I have a CF lip on my GT3, I had a tire fragment hit it hard at Willow. It's expensive and I'm anal and my eyes always looked there. Like everyone says its more hassle than its worth except to guys like us...I took a black marker and a grey one and dabbed it like I was making CF..lol. Guess what it worked and then I sprayed some clear out of a rattle can after tapping it off and buffed it gently. Looks 100% better and unless you really look you cannot see it.

I think you could do the same.

I have one too but in the front side not worth the hassle to fix it

An experience body shop is able to repair this 90%-95%.

I have one tiny scratch up front too when i turned and graze the gutter. I just let it be. When i got my car ceramic coated they just polished it off abit i think cause i can barely see mine.

Dont just let this be, over time the clear on the carbon will continue to peel, look at the F80 carbon roofs after they get a rock chip

Best thing to do is clean the area with iso alcohol and let dry, then go and get some two part touch up paint (from bmw or you can even go to Autozone and get one, just make sure it is two part.. one part paint and one part clear coat)color doesn't matter, you won't be using the paint. Take the CLEAR COAT portion only and apply a small amount to fully cover that blemish. It will ensure that as your car continues to be used, the chip won't keep getting bigger. If you want to really do it right, you can wetsand after you apply the clear and buff, but it sounds like that may be overkill for you.

Clear fingernail polish will clean that up about 90%
