BMW E90 320d Electrical Problem?
Hello guys!
I own a BMW 320d E90 M47 and in the last 2 years I receive the same error. This error is: 003EED DDE: Power Management, closed-circuit current violation. I haven't found anything useful on network about it. Only on some polish forum I found that someone changed the IBS and it solved it. I tried 3 IBS and the error didn't disappeared. Can someone help me with this error , because I think it's causing more errors In november 2019 I changed the relay and the glow plugs and 2 weeks ago I got errors form all 4 glow plugs. So I changed the relay ( the old original one ) and tested the glow plugs ( all were ok ). And after 4 days i got the errors again, the old relay broke again. So I fixed the after market one and changed it again ( 3 days ago ). Now I'm waiting to see if I get it again. And the same problem with the heated fuel filter. I changed it 2 times and when I replaced the relay i didn't got the heated fuel filter error again... Can someone help me with the 003EED error please? Thanks! |

Hello,
I think this error is related to excessive battery discharge (some module is drawing more current from the battery than it should). Did you notice that the batteery is draining? When you turn off the engine and lock your car the electrical systems will go to sleep after 30 minutes, so basically you can measure the current using multimeter. I would expect current to be around 100-150mA after car goes to sleep. If you see more that that - then look for what is still on |
