Coding Angel Eyes as DRLs Problem
Hi all,
Looking for some help please! I've just retrofitted an FRM2 to my 2006 E90 - I've got welcome lights working and the option in idrive for the daylight running lights (which I can enable and disable) - however I'm having an issue coding my angel eyes as DRLs. I've set: VERHALTEN_DRL_TFL to drl_s TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE_1 to aktiv The issue is that my rear tail lights are working as DRLs (turn on and off with the option in idrive) however the angel eyes are not coming on. The angel eyes work as parking lights / come on with the main beam so I know they're working. It must be something in particular with how it uses them as DRLs. I've also tried setting high beams as DRLs by setting VERHALTEN_DRL_TFL to drl_h and that works! I'm wondering if the voltage it is sending to them as DRLs is somehow too low (they're LEDs so I guess won't turn on if the voltage is too low) but not sure why that would be. I've attached my FSW_PSW trace from the FRM2 module if anyone could please have a look and see if anything is wrong? Thanks, Alexander |

To update - I found the issue.
I had to set DRL_TFL_MIT_SML to aktiv. All works as expected now with the angel eyes (as well as the rear tail lights) coming on as DRLs! |
