Instrument Cluster - MPG, Gas Gauge, Tach do not work

hello guys,

i have the same problem, but i only have the obd cable, without any software.

what do i have to download to have the ncsexpert with updated daten files?

Hi guys can someone please send me a step by step on how to resolve this issue? i downloaded V56 yesterday and updated some modules including this kombi one. Now my gauges are dead. I have read several posts now and some say to download the latest daten (which i should have now) and others to recode adding a blank.MAN file using NCS expert. I have no clue how to use NCS expert... please help my its freaking me out having no gauges!

Simply recode KOMBI to the vehicle order using expert mode profile in ncsexpert.

It's very simple, just google coding modules to default with expert mode or something like that.

I noticed on my buddy's 2011 e90 his instrument cluster LCD has larger fonts for things like MPG than my 2009. Anyone know if this is programmable. The cluster seems like the same part to me.

I did the same thing as all of you, but I don’t know if the files need to be newest, or if newest is too new. Or even where to get them. I tried a Mega.nz repo but I ran out of bandwidth and I don’t want the server to timout and bonk me.

Hi Guys,

MY cluster is having problem recently. Only Speedometer works, rest gauges are not working, such as fuel, temperature, rev. I ran system test, and all needles and lights were good. Ista+ says KOMBI's problem. This could be those files bad? How to fix?

I've been having this same issue, getting a CDA8 code but the car has never been coded or anything.

if you used carley you may have issues, i did i lost my backup cam and other things using carley, never got it back

so when I open up Carly there is all of the stuff I have no idea what it means. so i need info on the symbols and abbreviations, such as voltage monitoring. wtf? any help would be so appreciated? i lost my backup camera and side marker lites. carley isnt much help, just sending faq emails.
