335is iDrive retrofit questions

I am picking up a 2011 335is and am planning on doing the iDrive retrofit. Are all dash panels created equal in the E92s?

No, there are panels with cup holders and extra glove box and panels without

For the States, yes. Just iDrive or non-iDrive.

The other poster is referring to dashboards in other parts of the world where cupholders (yes, really) were optional.

yes, there are just two styles of dashboard. i-drive and non i-drive

the US dashboard usually do not have additional glovebox below light switch
and e93 lci dashboard in US have a knee airbag from drivers side
