So driving home last night I failed to notice they were painting lines on the roads.. I drove over a line that was still wet, and it sprayed some of the lower portion of the car! It looks pretty bad ..
![]() ![]() Someone please tell me what the best way of getting this off without damaging the paint is? It is coming off with my fingernail, but there is a lot of it, and it doesn't seem like the best way to do this.. Thanks Last edited by BMdblU; 06-11-2008 at 11:32 AM.. |

If you do that, make sure you re-wax the area. Just be careful and test a small spot, preferably in an inconspicuous area. Personally, I'd probably try to clay it off first.

Happened to me last year -- clay takes paint splatter right off.

clay works great, just make sure to use some LOOB-rication! And wether you use clay or goo, you have to re-seal when done.
