Paint on the car!

So driving home last night I failed to notice they were painting lines on the roads.. I drove over a line that was still wet, and it sprayed some of the lower portion of the car! It looks pretty bad ..

Someone please tell me what the best way of getting this off without damaging the paint is? It is coming off with my fingernail, but there is a lot of it, and it doesn't seem like the best way to do this..

I'm going to try some automotive goo gone.. hopefully that works

If you do that, make sure you re-wax the area. Just be careful and test a small spot, preferably in an inconspicuous area. Personally, I'd probably try to clay it off first.

Happened to me last year -- clay takes paint splatter right off.

clay works great, just make sure to use some LOOB-rication! And wether you use clay or goo, you have to re-seal when done.
