TPMS
My car is a 2011 E90 320d efficient dynamics.
How do I tell if it has sensors in the wheels or if it uses the abs system to log a flat? I am struggling to find the answer to this as most posts are USA where they have to have sensors in the wheels by law after 2007. A lot of posts say UK/Europe doesn't use the individul sensors in each wheel but some posts say we do after mid 2010. I want to put new wheels on my car instead of the original ones so is there an easy way to tell for sure what system my car uses? |

There are no pressure sensors in the wheels, it uses the ABS wheel speed sensors to calculate a difference in rotational speed to determine pressure loss.
So you can swap wheels no problem, just remember to set the pressures and then reset the TPMS system so it learns the correct values.
